The transportation industry is directly impacted by the changing dynamics of the global economy. With expectations of lower costs and increased volumes, the drive for cheaper global sourcing has prompted a greater interest in international transportation. Global corporations are demanding that transportation and logistics providers provide more information, visibility and services at lower costs. In turn, transportation providers are under pressure to integrate processes which introduce automation and provide value added services to their customers. Airlines, Ocean carrier, Leasing companies, Shipper and other third party logistics provider wants to have a centralized information system to share fleet information.
Challenge
Airlines, Equipment Leasing and Shipping companies are facing a biggest challenge to manage uncontrolled cost of equipment repair as well as to have total control over their global equipment fleet It is potentially a single largest source of uncontrolled cost to airlines, ocean carrier, shipper, agents and third party logistics provider. In the transportation industry, revenue is directly correlated with the amount of sound equipment available to move freight at any one time.

Benefits to Business Owners/Users
Control - Integrated Repair Management System (RMS) enables equipment owner / operator to have total control over their global equipment fleet. Each and every equipment repair is registered, validated and archived for future reference, thus providing repair managers a transparent real-time view, at any time, on the current repair status of their global fleet, therefore enabling them to give instructions to repair shops and surveyors.
Accessibility - RMS is completely Internet based so it is accessible anywhere, any time, without any network or transmission costs. So no matter where any user, shipping line, depot, surveyor, or leasing company is located they can have access to the system to the level pre-set within the security module. This means that everybody has access to the same information at the same time, but can only perform the functions they are allowed to do.
Automated Process - Most of the functions associated with the management of global maintenance and repair networks have been automated within RMS to reduce, or eliminate, labor hours spent processing paper, sending emails, making telephone calls, gathering data, invoicing, and analyzing data, and solving problems.
Cost Advantage - By automating these processes operating expenses are also reduced for depots, leasing companies, and surveyors making everybody more competitive. Also, the time required to bring units back to available status is dramatically reduced thereby reducing total equipment fleet requirements.
Alerts & Notification - Immediately after registration of the repair estimate by Repair Shop, RMS alerts responsible party, using Alerts & Notification server.
EDI feature - Repair estimates can be received from the service provider through our built-in Internet based EDI/XML translation and mapping software. That is, repair estimates can be sent by the service provider (depots) as email attachments (or ftp) in various formats, received, translated, and mapped to a single standard code format.
